Nettiyhteisö toi tuulahduksen menneisyydestä
Nettiyhteisön voima on vapisuttanut viime viikolla Suomen virallista listaa. Hyvän ystäväni hra Kosnaaderin pyörittämä Combat Rock Industry päätti suorittaa todellisen kulttuuriteon ja julkaista uudelleen vuonna 1978 perustetun Ratsia-yhtyeen sinkut "Lontoon skidit" ja "Tämä hetki ja tulevaisuus" vuosilta 1979 ja 1980. Alkuperäisiä julkaisuja kunnioittaen myös uudet tallenteet julkaistiin 7" vinyylipläjäyksinä, minkä luulisi olevan mahdollisimman epäkaupallinen teko vuonna 2009.
Kun tieto uusintajulkaisuista levisi Punk in Finland -nettifoorumille, päättivät foorumin käyttäjät viedä Ratsian Suomen sinkkulistalle. Tavoitteena oli kärkisija, johon ei aivan kyetty, mutta kyllähän se on melkoisen hupaisaa nähdä kaksi lähes 30 vuotta vanhaa sinkkua Suomen virallisen listan sijoilla 5 ja 6. Kenties kärkisijakin olisi irronnut, mikäli kaltaiseni liian harvoin levyjä ostavat uunot olisivat jaksaneet siirtää ruhonsa levykauppaan asti. Nyt pienet uusintapainokset ovat ilmeisesti myyty jo loppuun.
Jos jäit ilman levyä, voit toki kuunnella Ratsiaa laillisesti vaikkapa MySpacesta. Tämä tarina oli vain esimerkki siitä, miten tehokkaasti sosiaalinen media toimii pienten alakulttuurien sisällä.
